The leaked specifications of the POCO X8 Pro Max will blow your mind! Listed on BIS, it’s set to make a big splash in India soon.

Poco is reportedly working on new smartphones in its ‘X’ series, which could be launched very soon. Recently, the POCO X8 Pro smartphone was listed on the Indian certification site BIS and Singapore’s certification platform IMDA. Now, the Max model of the same series, the POCO X8 Pro Max, has also made its presence felt on the certification site.

The upcoming POCO X8 Pro Max smartphone has been listed on the IMDA certification platform. Tipster Anvin spotted the listing and shared this information on the social media platform X. According to the details revealed, the POCO X8 Pro Max has been certified with the model number 2602BPC18G. The previous POCO X8 Pro was spotted here with the model number 2511FPC34I. This listing indicates that the company may soon introduce its X8 series on the global platform.

Xiaomi sub-brand POCO has yet to announce the launch of the X8 series. There hasn’t been a ‘Max’ model in the POCO X series yet. This means the POCO X8 Pro Max will be a first. Some leaks also suggest that the POCO X8 Pro Max launching in India could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which was recently launched in China.

Design: Modern and Premium Look

The POCO X8 Pro Max’s design looks quite attractive based on leaked images. This phone comes with a flat frame, made of a metal mid-frame. This not only makes it sturdy but also gives it a premium feel. The back panel features a dual-camera setup, maintaining a clean and minimalist design. Thin bezels with a punch-hole front camera give it a modern look. Details regarding weight and thickness are not yet available.

Display: The POCO X8 Pro Max’s biggest highlight is its display. According to leaks, it will come with a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED screen that supports 1.5K resolution. With a 120Hz refresh rate, it will ensure smooth gaming and scrolling. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support are expected, which will take video streaming to the next level. The brightness level can reach up to 2000 nits.

Performance: The Power of the Dimensity 9500s Chipset

In terms of performance, the POCO X8 Pro Max is leaving no stone unturned. It will be the world’s first phone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. This chipset is built on a 4nm process, offering a powerful combination of CPU and GPU. The AnTuTu score is reported to be around 3.29 million, which could rival the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Battery: A 9,000mAh Mega Powerhouse

The battery is the biggest surprise of the POCO X8 Pro Max. According to leaked reports, it will come with a 9,000mAh battery, which is POCO’s largest battery to date. Some sources are mentioning 8,500mAh for the global version, but a 9,000mAh battery is expected for the Indian market.

Looking at the Redmi Turbo 5 Max’s specifications, it is the world’s first phone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. This means the POCO X8 Pro Max could become the first phone to launch in India with the Dimensity 9500s chipset. The company could offer the POCO X8 Pro Max in India with both 12GB and 16GB of RAM. This Poco phone is also expected to feature the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 3.

Redmi Turbo 5 Max

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max has been launched in China with a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a 2772 x 1280 pixel resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 2560Hz touch sampling rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and 3500nits peak brightness. The phone is IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K certified, providing dust, water, and liquid protection.

A 20-megapixel selfie sensor is also installed on the front. This phone launched in China with a 9000mAh battery. Now, there’s doubt whether the Indian POCO X8 Pro Max will feature a 9000mAh battery.

POCO X7 Pro

Regarding the POCO X8 Pro, leaks suggest this smartphone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor. For power backup, it could feature a battery larger than 8,000mAh. It could be equipped with 100W fast charging technology for faster charging.

For photography, it could feature a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. This upcoming Poco phone could feature a 6.6-inch FullHD+ flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The POCO X7 Pro was launched in India at a starting price of ₹27,999. Therefore, we can expect the POCO X8 Pro to be priced in the ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 range.
