The leak reveals that the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be launched globally, including a Leica Edition of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Xiaomi’s partnership with Leica is a highlight of this series. The Xiaomi 17 features a triple camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. The front camera is also 50MP.
Leaked images of the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra for the global market have surfaced, revealing their color options. Speaking of the Xiaomi 17, this compact flagship will be available in Blue, Green, and Black. Notably, the Green color wasn’t launched in China. The Pink model, which was available in China, won’t be available in the global market this time.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to be offered in Starry Green, White, and Black. While Green and Purple colors were already available in China, Purple has been excluded from the global launch. As for the Leica Edition, its exclusive color options are expected to be Black and Off-White, though images of these have not yet been released.
In terms of performance, both the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The Ultra phone features a large 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra stands out in the camera segment. It features a triple rear camera setup with Leica branding. It includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a powerful 200MP telephoto camera. This setup is specifically designed for landscape, portrait, and street photography.
