Reasons for the Price Hike
Why did Vivo increase the price of the Vivo T4x 5G? This question is on every budget smartphone user’s mind. At launch (March 2025), the 6GB/128GB variant was priced at ₹13,999, but now it’s priced at ₹15,499. Similarly, the 8GB/256GB variant has risen from ₹16,999 to ₹18,499. According to experts, there are several reasons behind this increase. First, disruptions in the global supply chain, such as chip shortages and rising raw material prices, are also contributing to rising inflation in India, making imported components more expensive.
The Vivo T4 Lite 5G phone sports a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. This is a waterdrop-style wall screen built on an LCD panel. The phone offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits of peak brightness. This affordable 5G phone is eye protection (TÜV Rheinland) certified. For power, it packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging technology.
For photography, the Vivo T4 Lite 5G phone supports dual rear cameras. On the back, it features a 50-megapixel Sony sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and LED flash, paired with a 2-megapixel Bokeh lens with an f/2.4 aperture. For power backup, the Vivo T4x features a robust 6,500mAh battery, which achieved a PC Mark Battery benchmark score of 14 hours and 11 minutes in 91Mobiles’ testing.
