Vivo’s “V Series,” known for its camera prowess, is bringing its next generation. The V70 series will launch in India on February 19th, featuring the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. The company has been actively teasing these two phones. Ahead of its launch today, the Vivo V70 India price has also surfaced online.
The price of the Vivo V70 5G phone was shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav. Tweeting on the social media platform X, the tipster claimed that the Vivo V70 will be launched in India in two variants. According to the leak, the phone’s 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will be launched in India for ₹45,999. The top variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage will be priced at ₹49,999.

Vivo V70 series launch date confirmed – now just 7 days to wait!
Vivo has officially announced that both the V70 and the new V70 Elite will launch on February 19th at 12 noon. The launch will take place in India only. The company has already made its microsite live, and preparations for the sale have already begun on Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo’s website. Pre-bookings are expected to begin today (February 12th), and the sale is expected to take place between February 25th and 28th.

The Vivo V70 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm process. An AnTuTu score is expected to be around 700,000 – gaming, multitasking, and camera processing will all be smooth. RAM is LPDDR5X and storage is UFS 4.1, meaning top-notch speeds.

Speaking of the Vivo V60 5G phone, it was launched in India last year in four variants. The smartphone’s price started at ₹36,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB variant was priced at ₹38,999. If the leaks are true, the 8GB + 256GB variant of the new V70 will be ₹6,000 more expensive than the previous V60.
The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Vivo V60 was launched at ₹40,999. The upcoming Vivo V70 is reportedly priced at ₹49,999, a ₹9,000 increase over the first generation. The actual price of the phone will be revealed on February 19th. The Vivo V70 will be sold in India in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow colors.
Talking about the features and specifications of the Vivo V70 5G phone, it will be launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. This is an 8-core CPU built on 4-nanometer fabrication, capable of clocking at up to 2.8GHz. This same chipset was also used in the previous Vivo V60. This means there is no major upgrade in terms of performance.
The Vivo V70 phone will be launched with a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with a resolution of 2750 × 1260 pixels. This flat AMOLED screen will support HDR10+ with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4320Hz PWM dimming, and 5000nits peak brightness. This upcoming Vivo smartphone will be equipped with in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor technology and will also support IP68 and IP69 ratings.
For photography, the Vivo V70 series uses Zeiss lenses. The upcoming V70 smartphone features a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary Sony OIS sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and LED flash, a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto lens, and a third ultra-wide-angle lens. The front panel of this Vivo phone features a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
For power backup, the Vivo V70 5G will be launched in the Indian market equipped with a 6500mAh battery. According to the brand, this phone will offer 40 hours of video streaming on a full charge. To ensure faster charging of the large battery, it will be equipped with 90W fast charging technology. This phone will also feature Bypass Charging technology, which will supply current directly to the motherboard instead of the battery during heavy performance.
